| Interests | Outdoors | Any chance to get outdoors with friends is a great day. When back in Canada, I like to hike in the mountains, and when possible go water-skiing with friends. |
| Staying healthy | Although I should go
more often, I try to make it to the gym, rollerblade, cycle,
or walk when I can. I also enjoy skiing and water skiing, although
it's pretty rare that I have the time or opportunity to do so. ![]() ![]() |

| Writing | Most of what I do is TESOL related: Textbooks, research papers, etc. However, I dream of taking some of my more interesting experiences, and some of the more interesting people I've met, and shaping them into a novel. | |
| Music | Everything from Rock to Jazz to Reggae and in-between. Most recently, I've gotten into salsa music and dance. I just started up again in Chiba. | |
| Travel | Although I doubt I'll ever travel like I used to -- hitchhiking around Europe or travelling on a shoestring in North Africa, I still hope to get back on the road someday and see what's still out there. Big on my list are SE Asia and South and Central America. | |
